GLEE! & Where I've Been

I haven't been on here in so long! I miss writing and blogging. I've just been so swamped with school and life that I just neglected blogspot. Now that the end of the semester is near, I will have so much more time to update this! Hoorah! 

What have I been up to? Well, I've been watching a lot of Glee lately! I just jumped on board not too long ago. I watched all Season 1 and am now caught up on Season 2. Speaking of Glee, it's coming on tonight!! I can't contain my excitement.

In other news, I joined the gym. Bally, to be exact. I signed up for a one year membership. YES! One year! I am determined to get my body in tip top shape. Not only is is great for my self-esteem but also for my health. I have a long history of health problems in my family so I need to be even more considerate of my health and body. I hope I lose my goal weight by August because a) my sister's wedding is in August and b) I'm going to BERMUDA right after the wedding. I'm excited for both very much!

I Left My Heart in Paris

I have neglected my blog so much & I apologize greatly for this! I thank you all for sticking with me still. =)

I am so honored to be a guest here on her blog and allowed the opportunity to post something for you all! 

I was trying really hard to think of a great topic to write about for this guest post. I wanted to write about something that I am passionate about and that is traveling. I started traveling a few years ago and I have been addicted to it. I was so addicted that one year, I took eight different vacations and visited eight different locations in the states and across the pond. The locations all spoke to me in very different ways. However, one location stood out to me the most and that was Paris, France. I think Paris is the most beautiful places I have ever been to. It’s a very magical place that I have not been able to forget. 

I’ve always dreamed of going back but that dream hasn’t come true yet. Hopefully it will in a few years time. This time I want to stay for at least a few months to truly capture the magic of the city. Paris is a place that has changed me in so many ways. Everything is so breathtaking that it’s hard not to pause for a few minutes throughout the day and appreciate everything that surround me.

Cold Hands, Warm Hearts Swap with Dearest Truchen!

A few weeks ago, I participated in the Cold Hands Warm Hearts gloves-swap hosted by the two gorgeous ladies, Ilene of much love, illy, and Sandy of Sandy a la Mode. I was randomly paired up with another blogger. She is the amazing and lovely Truchen. I suggest you go and check out her blog because it's quite lovely like herself.

We exchanged a few emails back and forth and I've come to realize that she is an absolute sweetheart! =) Her package arrived on December 6th but I wasn't home to sign for it so they delivered it to my local post office. I was so anxious to go pick it up. As soon as I stepped inside my house, I opened her box right away. When I did, a warm feeling arrived in my heart and I stood there with a huge smile. I took out the gloves right away and tried them on! What a perfect fit! I decided to wear them to take a few pics. Hehe.

I found a beautiful French journal inside! As most of you know, I am obsessed with anything Paris and French. I flipped through the book and found so many beautiful illustrations and French words. I was floored that she got me such a beautiful keepsake! I will definitely be writing many great things in this wonderful journal. 

I saw something shiny in a plastic bag and looked at it closer; it was then that I realized it was an Eiffel Tower necklace! I said, "Oh! Be still my heart!" It also has a stone pendant on another necklace which is removable. I tried it on right away and fell in love immediately. I will be wearing this a lot!

That wasn't all she included! There was also an apple container that contained lotion that smelled just like apples! YUM! She also included a mask that smells like pomegranate! Is it a coincidence or what that that's my favorite fruit or maybe we're just bosom friends! =P

Let's not forget about the chocolates! I am in love with chocolate anything so this was a very special treat for me!

She included even more! I was already satisfied and happy with everything I got then I found these two lovely items! I almost didn't see those earrings because they were hiding in the box pretty well. Hehe. The hair clip is stunning and it's perfect because I am in love with bows too! There are no words for the earrings because they are absolutely beautiful!

I just want to thank you so much, Truchen for putting so much thought and effort into my gifts. It was quite lovely and I am so glad I was paired up with you! You're an amazing and lovely girl and I hope our friendship will grow even more after this! I hope to see your blog post soon & I hope you like your gifts as much as I do yours! Like you said, I now have warm hands & a warm heart!<3
